His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Arannis is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born in a small desert village. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. Personality: She likes to brag about her accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was born in the east, but her parents moved at a very young age to the west. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He now mingles about in high society.
