His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.

History: Adelaide was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Aristocrat, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Aristocrat in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Through the years after Adelaide was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Adelaide's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. The occasional robbery is his preferred attention getting crime, but he mainly uses his means for meeting his own perverse desires.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Mreksh has worked very hard to control his curse. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Mreksh never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.

Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and he has decided he is irredeemable
