Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. Melissa enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She is compelled to act according to her religious beliefs; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
