However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the drow.

History: Vonbin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Dwarven conditions. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Shaena alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Shaena was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.
