History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Gillyd never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Matilda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and wants to open a new tavern
