History: Pyra lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Elven conditions. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Personality: She is erratic and paranoid. She believes brigands are coming to abduct people. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ishte does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by brigands. Ishte was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: A deep hatred of brigands.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. Einkil enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things; and to end his boredom
