History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Taklinn liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. Recently the stress of being a Layabout has made it difficult for him to sleep.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: Lorilla hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her singing career. Energy wise she seems alert and responsive.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When Lorilla reached her early adolescence her Gnome father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
