History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his mother. He worked as a nervous Body Guard and found it very stressful. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature lance.

History: Heather was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has achieved small success as a Miller.

He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Dain was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
