History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: He was born at the edge of vast mountains. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. He was granted divine powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: A middle-aged man, he is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior, and is pretty ugly. He has done his best to style his brown hair to look like a famous performer. His brown eyes peer out from beneath his wide-brimmed tan hat.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Gnomes in Dimble's homeland. Dimble decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Dimble fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and further expansion of business

His green crest is heavily combed to the left. His red eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.

Personality: Heskan speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Heskan was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Tanner responsibilities is difficult; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg

Description: The woman speaks with an almost imperceptible accent. She seems to always be the slightest bit damp as if she got out from a pool a few moments ago. She prefers to wear black clothing when she does not wear armor. Her white crest is heavily combed to the right. Her gold eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Gilkass hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her writing career. Gilkass enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She worked as a nervous Sage and found it very stressful. She struck the Sage job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and expand her business
