Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She also has developed a complete distrust of the Bather profession.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Spice Merchant responsibilities is difficult; and wishes to resurrect an old love

History: Born in the east to a Ploughman, Ekk learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the east were limited. She's also a talented Unemployed, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and wants to open a new tavern

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Sage work with an outfit from a few towns over. Sage work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Sage for hire.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved; and balancing her hectic life and new sage responsibilities is difficult
