History: Her father raised her in a mountain cabin. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the west. A freak accident while working with his Stableman mother left him crippled. During his travels, Bernard and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Bernard discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves.
