History: Veloptima lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Through the years after Tarhun was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Tarhun's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: She is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Urshar enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Born to a Soapmaker, her father struggled to pay the bills. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. After a long history of fighting, Urshar and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
