History: Makaria was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Makaria liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Shepherd. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Detective arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
