History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Valanthe was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Gnomish conditions. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
