History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Dragonborns in Valorean's homeland. Valorean decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Through the years after Nora was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Nora's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Nora and her spouse have recently divorced.
