She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Marastyr was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Marastyr and her spouse have recently divorced.
