History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Hoshû was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Hoshû's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. During his travels, Hoshû and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Hoshû discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Hoshû fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

Personality: He hates drow. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Theriatis was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting drow, the young Theriatis began to lead the lost caravan. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the north to a Stableman, Shava learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Stableman for hire.
