When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Cook hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: Born to a Priest, his mother struggled to pay the bills. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Umpen and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Ovina hails from a village terrorized by brigands. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.
