Personality: Qualen hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Qualen was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
