His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Greethen grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Greethen. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: The man has a huge range of feeling. He will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how he will be a better person from this day on. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born in a small plains village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Theriatis took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up longsword and armor he uses now. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
