History: Mardred was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Personality: Prone to second guessing herself, she comes off as nervous. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ruloth does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a Glassblower, her father struggled to pay the bills. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered writing. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She feels kind of lost in life; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. Elegant enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: She is a small woman, but exceptionally fit. She usually wears her blue robe and has her scimitar always slung over her shoulder. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her eyes are a pleasant violet.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep her interest for a month it is impressive.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Donella fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
