History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A gifted student he started as a Bowyer, but he got bored and became a Courier. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Courier for hire.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. After a long history of fighting, Alston and his spouse have recently divorced.
