When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Doctor hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Doctor for hire.

Description: A middle-aged man, he very much looks the part of a Adventurer, and is pretty ugly. His hair is brown and curly. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is harsh and unforgiving.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Adventurer. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Adventurer responsibilities is difficult.

Description: This man is very fat, and wears suspenders and grey workpants. His shirt is blue, and he wears a heavy grey leather apron most of the time. His head has been shaved. His eyes are a pleasant hazel.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 17th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was granted necromantic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: Matilda was born with her father's beautiful face. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She's also a talented Butcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and sabotage a competitor

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Edge fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To reunite with her old friends; and to be a barkeep again
