History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Randal was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Ploughman. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Miner and was forced into it by her family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister
