History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gifted student he started as a Navigator, but he got bored and became a Layabout. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Layabout, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She is business-like. She takes instructions and follows them to the letter. She refers to her adoptive mother for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk she knows how to make people feel guilty. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. A gifted student she started as a Map Maker, but she got bored and became a Interpreter. She's also a talented Map Maker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
