History: William was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Detective work with an outfit from a few towns over. Detective work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He tends to his Detective job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. She's also a talented Map Maker, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and balancing her hectic life and new herbalist responsibilities is difficult
