History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Born in the north to a Ruler, Emmeline learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Emmeline grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Emmeline. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Ruler for hire.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She has worked as a Roofer like her father before her.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it
