Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. The war was a terrible time for him, and Gubu does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Gubu was born on a far western forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Blacksmith. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. Arha enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Gifted from a young age, Arha studied abroad. Her parents enrolled her in a Wizard school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Wants to have a good time and be beloved.

History: She was born in a small plains village. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She also hits on women, regardless of circumstances.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. A freak accident while working with her Ruler mother left her crippled. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and wants to raise her children well
