In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: The child of a Cook, who enjoyed hunting, Ilanis was taken on many hunting expeditions. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. After a long history of fighting, Veloptima and her spouse have recently divorced.
