History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of giants once and for all.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and she desires to right it; and a deep hatred of giants
