History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nala fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Scrag was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: She does not care much for physical appearances, nor does she care much for other people. She does however care about what she wants and getting it. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Her father worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled father and took her father's old job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. While she appears to be a normal Dwarf, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Mortician for hire.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and wants to raise her children well

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A gifted student he started as a Sage, but he got bored and became a Bookbinder. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to be a sage again
