History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

Personality: She fancies herself a trickster and likes to rely on her wits to carry the day. She cares for her older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of goblins once and for all.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. She took after her father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, her father taught her to defend herself. When her father died while fighting goblins, the young Shivering began to lead the lost caravan. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Vassago was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Vassago and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She got into the Mayor business at a young age. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Mishann took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up club and armor she uses now. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Shadow's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Shadow was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Performer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Performer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
