History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Locksmith hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: She would like to get married and retire; and retire the richest woman in the west

Personality: Shifting wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Expert, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His brief stint in the army gave him the idea he was invincible and that he is the toughest man alive.

History: Born in the east to a Farmer, Shifting learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Mason, but he got bored and became a Farmer. He now owns his own business.
