History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Personality: She is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks her mind. She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Halflings.

History: Philomena was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered north to less war torn lands. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 4 years.

Motivation: She'd like to take her coworkers down a peg.

Description: He is an average looking western male in his early mid-life. He dresses in tan turtlenecks beneath a black coat with white slacks. His red hair is styled in orderly dreadlocks. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Because his mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, dire rats burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the west, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his father from journeying west to reunite his family. He was granted arcane powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Born to a Mason, his mother struggled to pay the bills. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. She usually doesn't wear a shirt. Her crest, while still mostly brass, has prominent grey streaks. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her red eyes.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. Her first spouse was a Mortician, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Mortician they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Bowyer, and she later adopted a second daughter.
