History: She got into the Spice Merchant business at a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Gesrethe grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Gesrethe. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

Description: A woman with a calm yet intense air about her, she wears a large hat to cast shadows over her face and wears ponchos to better hide her body. She wears her brown hair up. Her face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. Her spectacle hidden eyes are a deep black.

Personality: She shows great sympathy to all travelers. She's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: She was born in the south. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She has decided she is irredeemable.

Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: She stands about 6'7" and tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with her rolled up shirt sleeves this gives her a very relaxed look. Her left hand appears badly burned and disfigured. Her bronze crest is matted, messy, and big. Her red eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Eggren has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Dwarf in existence. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He's in love; and he would like to get married and retire
