History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Peren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He considers himself the perfect gentleman. He makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and to end his boredom

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. Her brief stint in the army gave her the idea she was invincible and that she is the toughest woman alive.

History: Three was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Three grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Three. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and expand his business

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: She was born in the south, but her parents moved at a very young age to the north. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and nothing but the best is good enough for her
