Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He has all his life been fascinated with singing.
History: A child with a great deal of singing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
Motivation: Retire the richest man in the south; and wants to open a new tavern

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his hammer with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. He has wavy red hair. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Shoemaker born in the past three hundred years. He works hard and plays hard.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: She appears as an extremely gaunt Halfling, and stands approximately 3'2". She is dressed in an above average manner, and her gloved hand is found clutching a sai. Her long blonde hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.
Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for her. She lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.
History: She comes from a rich southern family. Her childhood dream was to be a Barkeep, but she was a colossal failure. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor

Description: Wearing a closed helm and plate, one would not know what he was had he not made sure his armor was more form fitting than normal. Outside of the suit he wears a suit in poor condition. It has not been laundered in sometime and has been worn in activities one would not normally wear a suit during. He sports a flattop hair cut. He wears large thick round spectacles.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.
History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. During his travels, Sammal and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Sammal discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Sammal fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature whip.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and obtaining odd cultural dragonborn artifacts is his passion
