History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the south. In her 11th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Malquis alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Dilettante for the past few years.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Through the years after Mella was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Mella's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has never given up on her dancing dream.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Cartwright born in the past three hundred years. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Motivation: To be a Unemployed again; and she'd like to take her coworkers down a peg
