Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bucklal fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: She is a jovial happy person, but she is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Anne was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Commoner, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Commoner in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother; and to end her boredom
