Personality: She has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Cartwright who has hired her part-time. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Ranala was born with her father's beautiful face. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Her violet eyes peer out from beneath her top white hat.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: Trained by her father for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent father; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the north. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the north were limited. She has dedicated herself to building a better village for her children.
