History: Born in the north to a Dyer, Kriv learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He struck the Dyer job and began his own company from there.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'1" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a black vest with golden trim over his white shirt. His blue leather gloves and pants are well-kept, and his black boots flare out at the collars. His hair, while still mostly chestnut, has prominent grey streaks. He has several tiny amber earrings on each ear.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gruk alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and revenge
