Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He disdains his fellow easterners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Zepar is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: He got into the Painter business at a young age. Zepar was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Zepar decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Stableman who has hired him part-time. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature sai.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's in love

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Maiathah was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge

Personality: Friendly and accommodating she would invite many more into her home than her spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. She is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. She likes to tell stories.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Her parents enrolled her in a Adept school at a young age so that she could practice her divine talents. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
