Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bertram fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Torbera was born with her mother's beautiful face. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.

Personality: He is someone who is used to having a large amount of sex appeal. He also lacks a concept of privacy and shares just about everything. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He comes from a rich western family. He found a children's book about a Dwarf Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. History: Oppleby lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Bather. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
