History: Jarsali was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She got into the Architect business at a young age. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Architect. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 12 years.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: Frug lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She disdains her fellow easterners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature rapier.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Tanner. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Tanner arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has achieved small success as a Tanner.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often; and to be a soapmaker again
