Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Halflings in the east were limited. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
