History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Tim alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. A freak accident while working with her Blacksmith father left her crippled. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.
