History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He worked as a nervous Layabout and found it very stressful. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation she is generally quite perceptive. She notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Through the years after Artin was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Artin's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
