Through the years after Ratak was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Ratak's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Elaim hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: She is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before her hampering stammer kicks in. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of brigands once and for all.

History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her mother and father. Her mother taught her the rudiments of the Jeweler arts, while her father instructed her in etiquette, music and courtly manner. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
