History: Great was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

She has dyed her greying purple hair a little too much giving a sharp purple color. She was beautiful and young once, which still shows through her age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Pyra was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Painter. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Painter responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Donaar was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and his religion dominates his actions

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'5" when asserting himself. Sporting a silver mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.

Personality: She is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Joan is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her brothers into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: Born to a Crown-heir, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature scimitar.

Motivation: She wants revenge against brigands; and doesn't want to be a blacksmith and was forced into it by her family
