He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.
